The 2026 International Conference on Big Data, Machine Learning and Intelligent Computing (BDMLIC 2026) will be held on September 28–30, 2026 in Guangzhou, China.

Guangzhou, abbreviated as “Sui,” is also known as Yangcheng (City of Sheep), Huacheng (City of Flowers), and Wuyangcheng (City of Five Rams). It is a prefecture-level city, provincial capital, sub-provincial city, national central city, megacity, and world-class city in Guangdong Province. Located in the south-central part of Guangdong Province at the northern edge of the Pearl River Delta, it is a hilly region with higher elevations in the northeast and lower in the southwest. The city exhibits a pronounced maritime climate, with Cantonese and Mandarin as the common languages.
Guangzhou is among China's first batch of National Historical and Cultural Cities and serves as one of the starting points of the Maritime Silk Road. Renowned as the “Millennium Commercial Capital,” it has long been a crossroads of Chinese and foreign cultures and is one of the birthplaces of Cantonese culture. As early as the Neolithic period, six to seven thousand years ago, ancestors thrived and multiplied on this land. During the Qin Dynasty, the city was constructed under the supervision of General Ren Xiao and named Renxiao City, with its official designation being Panyu City.
Guangzhou serves as the core city of the Guangzhou metropolitan area. Designated by the State Council as a major central city, international trade hub, and comprehensive transportation nexus, it functions as a key base for international commerce, national advanced manufacturing, comprehensive gateway operations, and international science and technology innovation. It also hosts the headquarters of the Southern Theater Command. Guangzhou's primary industries focus on productive services, including shipping services, technology services, specialized finance, international trade, and professional services.
